EEO/AAP Information within OM Infotype 1610

Monday, July 20th, 2009

Question

Where in the Employee Master records does the EEO and AAP information resdie. Is there a specific Infotype with that information. I know that the EEO and Exempt/Non Exempt information is stored in the Job US specitic Infotype and that date of birth and gender are in IT0002 and Race and Ethnicity are in IT0077. But is there another infotype that has EEO/AAP information?

Answer

EEO and AAP categories are in infotype 1610, table V_T5U13_C. The table is where all the entries are contained, the infotype is where the entries are connected to the job.   If your production environment does not allow you to update these directly, please refer to OSS Notes for more information: 1063217, 873064, 976273, 435204.  You are also able to review the Tips & Tricks section of our website for the powerpoint outlining Regulatory Compliance by Kellie Fitzpatrick.  http://www.symphony-consulting.com –> Advantages –> Whitepapers.

EEA Reporting

Tuesday, March 31st, 2009

Question

Is there a way to set up SAP for EEA reporting?

Answer

EEA program is for all Federal government orgs and any contractor that has a contract with the Federal government in excess of a certain dollar amount. The set up includes NOC (national occupation codes) and employment statistics. It looks similar as the set up for EEO in SAP. The standard report in SAP is S_AHR_61018783 Equal Employment Act EEA Report The config can be found is under Payroll Canada under Payroll Canada - Reporting and Statistics - Employment Equity Act Reporting (EEA), as well as Personnel Administration - Additional Personnel Data. You assign NOC codes to positions (or jobs) which are delivered. There is some config against the wage types. You also have to ensure that the 4 target groups are entered in I0077 (canadian version), which are Women, People with Disabilities, Visible Minorities & First Nations. The mandatory reporting can encompass more than just the one view of the report.

Wage Types

Tuesday, March 31st, 2009

Question

What configuration items are required to downloaded the time information(wage types) for an outsourced payroll system?

Answer

Within SAP HR- there is standard “TIME WAGE TYPE EXPORT” function that can be selected. The wage types that you wish to export will need to be identified, and the outbound information is stored in “SAP IDOCS”. A cross reference will need to be written to link the wage type with the “code” in the outsourced system.
