Setting up an Organizational Structure can often be confusing and time consuming for a new implementation or for ongoing maintenance. Many clients believe or have been guided to mimic their Financial structure because of time and understanding. However, this presentation will focus on why HR utilizes an Organizational Structure and the purpose of a complete and accurate structure for the integration into other modules and sub-modules within SAP. We will talk about how to set up a multi-tiered structure and how to allocate positions to that structure. This presentation will talk about the common pitfalls of creating and not accurately maintaining an organizational structure over the course of time and how to rectify and utilize this structure to the fullest potential of the system.
